A house designed for a narrow lot, where the facade has to do a lot within a limited width. Floors are stacked above a single covered carport, with tall black-framed windows lighting the rooms behind.
The visualisations show the house by day and at dusk.
Design concept
Design concept
Dark stone cladding at the lower levels contrasts with white plaster and a timber-lined soffit above. A balcony with planting softens the front, and the deep roof edge shades the top floor.
At dusk, the soffit downlights and the large windows light the facade from within.
