The Narrow-Lot House stacks its floors above a single carport, with tall black-framed windows and stone, plaster and timber.

The Narrow-Lot House is designed for a lot where the street frontage is limited. Its floors are stacked above a single covered carport at street level.

The street face

Tall black-framed windows light the rooms behind the front of the house. A balcony with planting sits on the upper floor, and a deep roof edge shades the top of the facade.

Materials

Dark stone cladding runs along the lower levels, with white plaster and a timber-lined soffit above. At dusk, downlights in the soffit and the large windows light the facade from within.
